Description

Nestlé aims to certify all its water bottling plants to the AWS Standard by 2025. Furthermore, it will implement the AWS Standard in food production factories, such as at Miajadas in Extremadura, southwestern Spain, where tomato sauces are made. The application of the AWS Standard to Nestlé’s food division represents a further important step towards the company’s commitment to continuous improvement in its water management practices.

Nestlé’s collaboration with AWS is a key part of the water stewardship journey that will allow the Food Company to engage even more with local communities and local administrations, thereby contributing to the sustainability of water resources wherever it operates. In this webinar we will discover the case of Miajadas and its implementation of the AWS Standard, through four key areas: in the factory itself, in the catchment and hydrographic basin in which it is located, in its agricultural supply chain and in the communities where it operates.

Speakers include:
-Peter Newborne, AWS Regional Coordinator for Europe
-Katja Seidenschnur, Sustainability Director, Nestlé EMENA
-Carlo Galli, Director Water Resources, Nestlé Corporate
-Diana Cubillas, Sustainability Specialist, Nestlé Iberia
-Jacques Reber – Market Head – Nestlé España
-Manuel Vázquez, Founder, Conesa Group
-Laura García Pierna, Expert, Fundación Global Nature

Presentations will be followed by a Q&A.
